Komunikasi dan Sastera Communication and Literature

Abstract

Communication is the sharing and adaptation of groups of symbols that carry information. Any form of human communication has the potential to connect individuals with one another. Literature, on the other hand, is a type of discourse employing special rules of language (full of art and beauty). Literature is colored by local characteristics that represent social behavior (at the time the piece of literature was created) and thus can be used as a communication tool. This paper examines the role of literature in communication. It looks at the work of literature and how authors play the role of communicators.

Komunikasi adalah perkongsian dan penyesuaian kumpulan simbol yang membawa maklumat. Segala bentuk komunikasi manusia berpotensi menghubungkan individu antara satu sama lain. Sastera, sebaliknya, adalah jenis wacana yang menggunakan peraturan bahasa khas (penuh dengan seni dan keindahan). Sastera diwarnai oleh ciri-ciri tempatan yang mewakili tingkah laku sosial (pada masa itu karya sastera dibuat) dan dengan itu dapat digunakan sebagai alat komunikasi. Makalah ini mengkaji peranan sastera dalam komunikasi. Ia melihat karya sastera dan bagaimana pengarang memainkan peranan sebagai komunikator.
