This study aims to examine the contribution of khuruj practice among the Masturat group in shaping personal character (sahsiah) based on the values rooted in the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The main focus of the study is to explore how khuruj, as practiced by Masturat in the Tablighi Jamaat, aligns with Prophetic principles and the mechanisms by which it contributes to the moral and spiritual development of Muslim women. Khuruj refers to voluntary preaching efforts over a specific period, emphasizing the sacrifice of time, wealth, and energy to strengthen one’s faith and righteous deeds. It is a key component of the Tablighi movement that also involves women through structured activities such as religious study circles (halaqah), recitation of Fadhail A’mal, daily dhikr, and house-to-house women’s outreach. This study adopts a qualitative approach through documentation and library research methods, utilizing secondary sources such as previous scholarly works, classical Islamic texts, and references from the Sunnah. It aims to address the question of how khuruj functions as a platform for internalizing Islamic values such as humility (tawadhu’), moderation, obedience, and sacrifice, and how these values are practically integrated into the daily lives of Muslim women. The analysis focuses on the spiritual and ethical transformation experienced by women through consistent involvement in Sunnah-based practices. Findings indicate that khuruj significantly contributes to the formation of Masturat’s character, not only in strengthening aqidah (creed) and ibadah (worship), but also in nurturing disciplined, patient, and responsible women who are committed to their roles as wives, mothers, and community members. This study provides deeper insights into the role of women in the context of the Tablighi Jamaat’s missionary efforts and offers an alternative perspective on Islamic character development grounded in the Sunnah.
